Can feel the grip of tires but not the friction. My tire garage only selss and installs tires so they know the brands that work for my car. Noise level is minimal. I own a 2007 Mazda 5, the tire size is 205-55-R16. So far, after 2 weeks, these tires are great. The noise reduction from the OEM junk tires they put on Mazda's are great! In the rain, the tires performed fine. I like the looks of them. I got a $60 mail in rebate too. I had tried comparable goodyear tires and found the ride a little rougher and noiser. . The ENVigor tires seem excellent so far but have not used in wet or snow.
