The AVID T4 is Yokohama's Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sporty coupes and sedans. The AVID T4 is designed to blend a mixture of performance and appearance with all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. The AVID T4 uses Yokohama's Tri-Plex tread compound featuring unique tread cap, undertread and buttress compounds to deliver year-round traction, long wear and T-speed rated durability. This compound is molded into a symmetric tread design combining independent shoulders and intermediate blocks with a continuous center rib to enhance steering response and stability. The tread design also features 20° V-Grooves and circumferential channels to help drain water and enhance wet traction. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts on top of a polyester carcass to combine strength with ride comfort.
